Front garden with granite sett driveway

This project involved the redesign of a front garden with the construction of a new driveway.  The client suggested granite setts, laid in a traditional pattern, inspired by stays in a south of France farmhouse.  We continued that theme with the addition of tall, narrow cypress trees to line the driveway.

The project included:

  •      Laying the driveway using granite setts laid in overlapping arcs ('bogen' pattern)

  •     Pathway laid across the garden with natural sandstone paving

  •     New beds and borders prepared for planting

  •     Levelling and turfing all lawn areas

  •     Planting all beds and borders

  •     Installation of electric gate

  •     Installation of garden lighting
