A large koi carp pond and surrounding landscaping

The client wanted a koi carp pond constructed within a large, formally landscaped garden.  The surrounding areas were landscaped with paving, steps and beds to compliment the existing garden.  A stream and waterfall are built into the raised planting area at one end of the pond, circulating the water into the pond.

The project included:

​

  •     Construction of the main pond, with the side walls finished with ragstone

  •     Construction of the waterfall using large ragstone rocks

  •     A set of steps built each side of the pond, using reclaimed bricks 

  •     Paving around the pond using Indian sandstone

  •     Preparation of all planting areas

  •     Levelling and turfing of lawn areas

  •     Construction of filter tanks, and installation of all pipework, electrics etc
